Each year the National Space Club Florida Committee recognizes one person who has made “above & beyond” contributions to the U.S. space program in Florida through technical, educational or leadership activities while still early in their career.
2019 Rising Star Honoree
Chelsea Partridge
Chelsea is a Test Engineer for Lockheed Martin on Orion and is President of the Missile, Space and Range Pioneers. She earned her BS at UNF and was part of multiple clubs, all while performing suborbital and materials science research. Chelsea is proud of her advocacy for space exploration and STEM education, as well as her dedication to diversity and inclusion within engineering. She would like to thank her husband, parents, and siblings for their love and support. |
